Pre War – WWI

Epps 1907 Monoplane (Replica)
Designed by the 16-year-old Ben Epps, this monoplane flew approximately 100 yards at the height of 50 feet, just four years after the Wright Brothers’ first flight. This is a replica of the very first monoplane to take flight in the United States and the first flight ever in the state of Georgia.

1917 Fokker Dr. 1 (Replica)
Produced in 1917, this aircraft was a staple of German air forces during World War I. It was most famously piloted by The Red Barron, Manfred von Richthofen. With three sets of wings, this triplane is one of the most unique pieces in our collection.
